A House Without a Father

WRITERS: Contrina Jenkins-Buggs & Carlos Wallace
DIRECTOR: Contrina Jenkins-Buggs
FILMOGRAPHER: Mikell Limbrick

A House Without a Father is a powerful faith based drama that follows Sheron, a single mother doing everything she can to raise her two daughters, Aaliyah and Morgan, while struggling to survive financially. Working multiple jobs and living paycheck to paycheck, Sheron fights daily to keep her family together as mounting hardships threaten their future.

As the girls grow older, the emotional absence of their father begins affecting them in different ways. Aaliyah becomes rebellious and angry, while Morgan quietly withdraws into herself. Despite Sheron’s efforts to hold her family together through love and faith, the pressures of life continue pulling them apart.

Just when hope begins to appear, an unexpected tragedy changes everything. Filled with heartbreak, resilience, and emotional depth, A House Without a Father is a moving story about survival, sacrifice, faith, and the unbreakable strength of a mother’s love.

Development

A cultural movement is rising in Houston, Texas, where creativity, truth, and expression collide through the power of spoken word poetry. P.E.N.S. (Poetic Energy Needed in Society) takes viewers inside one of the nation’s most passionate and dynamic poetry communities, revealing the voices, stories, and experiences that have shaped Houston’s underground artistic culture for years. Set against the backdrop of the city’s museums, historic neighborhoods, nightlife, and community spaces, the documentary highlights a diverse collection of spoken word artists whose words reflect love, pain, resilience, faith, injustice, identity, and survival. Their performances are more than entertainment. They are emotional releases, cultural commentary, and personal testimonies woven into the fabric of Houston itself. For years, this creative movement remained one of the city’s hidden treasures. P.E.N.S. finally brings that story to the forefront, celebrating the artistry, culture, and poetic energy that continues inspiring audiences across generations.

Special Delivery: The Package

WRITER: Tonyai Palmer
DIRECTOR: Tonyai Palmer
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER: Carlos Wallace

Maximus King appears to have everything a man could want. Wealth, power, intelligence, and status have made him untouchable in the eyes of the world. Yet beneath the success and confidence lies a man haunted by guilt, pain, and unresolved trauma that money cannot erase.

Desperate for peace, Maximus begins therapy with Dr. Sarah Finn, a brilliant and unconventional therapist whose methods force him to confront the darkest moments of his past. As their sessions intensify, the line between healing and manipulation becomes increasingly blurred, leaving Maximus questioning whether Dr. Finn is truly trying to help him or destroy him.

After receiving a mysterious package that reopens emotional wounds he has spent years burying, Maximus is forced into a painful journey of self reflection, grief, and spiritual reckoning. Special Delivery: The Package is a gripping psychological faith based drama about trauma, redemption, pride, and the life changing power of confronting the truth before time runs out.
