Taken from the Latin, “Sol” or “Sole” translates to elite. “Caritas” means giving or charitable. Together they form the concept of “elite giving” the foundation of Sol-Caritas. Ultimately, it’s about giving back to the community, to education, businesses, and more importantly to you, the people who help our company thrive.

Sol-Caritas is a Houston-based entertainment promotions company founded by President & CEO Carlos Wallace. However, we do not just stop there, and that is what distinguishes Sol-Caritas from its competitors. While promoting entertainment venues is our primary focus, what sets us apart in our industry is our philanthropic spirit. Sol-Caritas assists local charities, gives back to education through scholarships provided by The Alice Wallace Foundation, and supports businesses by offering valuable sponsorship advertising. Most importantly we give to the people by providing top tier entertainment and events across the country.

Sol-Caritas is a prestigious Houston-based entertainment promotions’ company founded by President & CEO Carlos Wallace. Instead, we produce meaningful quality events and develop innovative long-term projects that ensure the growth and longevity of the company. Sol’s 5-star productions have unseated audiences in the world’s biggest venues. We feature prominent personalities while also nurturing fresh talent. Our pool of artists includes award-winning stand-up comics from Houston, Dallas, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Sol-Caritas proudly claims a superior record of sold-out shows at venues including New York’s historic Apollo Theater, Caroline’s Comedy Club on Broadway, the Verizon Wireless Theater – Houston, Texas, Dallas Convention Center and the Houston Improv. Over 175,000 people and counting have enjoyed our blockbuster events and we have not even met our ambitious self-imposed goals. Whether we have one, one hundred, one thousand successful shows, Sol will never rest on its laurels. The goal is to evolve and progress to improve our product, fascinate our audience and challenge our associates in the industry to follow our lead.
